Application: Residential electric vehicle charging station
This little extension enables you to charge your battery electric vehicle at home by plugging it into any standard household earthed AC socket outlet without a dedicated circuit. Safety protection is built in to avoid risks of electric shock or heating and fire of the socket and cables following intensive use for several hours at or near the maximum power. Charging is done in level 2 which largely reduces full-cycle charging time.
